Bobacar Telli Diallo

Bobacar Telli Diallo with his wife Kadiatou and oldest daughter, Rougui. He was secretary-general of the OAU for eight years untill retrieved by guinean dictator, Ahmed Sekou Toure. For a while he was minister for law and interior matters, untill Toure decided to crack down on the rich and dominant fula tribe. I met Rougui at the sovjet pioneercamp, Artek in july 1976. While at the camp she was informed by Mohammad Toure, son of the dictator, that her father had been arrested back home. On the state radio he confessed to plotting and spying on behalf of France, Westgermany and the US. And properly a few more. In february 1977 he perished in the military prison, Camp Boiro, starved to death. While in jail he continued pleading with Toure, letters going back and forth, cat playing with the mouse. That story can be read in the FORFATTERSKOLENS AFGANGSANTOLOGI 2003. In danish, of course.
